I have liquor rights to all US for established tequila 100% agave from guadalara. i want to sell these rights

What is your question?

I have liquor rights to all US for established tequila 100% agave from guadalara. i want to sell these rights
You won't be able to call it Tequila since that can only come from Mexico - name is trademarked for just that region.

You could sell those rights to someone who wants to make mescal however.
Reply:Unlike the other answerers, I assume you meant to say your tequila is from Guadalajara, which is actually quite close the town of Tequila in the Mexican state of Jalisco.

Assuming that is correct, then of course you can label your product tequila.

As for how to go about selling your distribution rights, I would recommend looking at who the major distributors are currently and send them some information about your product. (see link 1)

Alternately, if your product is a quality tequila, you could contact Julio Bermejo, who is considered by most to be the best tequila expert in the United States. He and his family run the restaurant/bar Tommy's in San Francisco, and no one imports more 100% agave tequila into the US than Julio, despite the restaurant's humble and small appearance. It is the tequila capital of the US for sure. (see link 2)
Reply:Haha, BUSTED.
Reply:If I understand your question right, then you are lying.

Agave tequila can only come from a certain region of Mexico, by it's very definition.

Spoken by an ex-bartender and eternal tequila drinker.
