you can eat it if the worm had any germ's on it the tequila killed them ( my brother used to just swallow them )
I want to know if you eat or swallow a agave worm will it hurt you. Mezcal Tequila worm inside bottle?

Reply:mezcal is not tequila. Tequila is similar to Mezcal in that they are both products of the agave plant. Mezcal is made only from Blue Agave. It is perfectly harmless to consume the worm.
