How do I make cinnamon roll flavored oatmeal?

I buy plain oatmeal in bulk and sweeten it with agave nectar but I wanted to know if I were to add cinnamon powder, would it taste like a cinnamon roll or would I need to add vanilla extract to it as well..thanks

Reply:I cook my oatmeal and as it is cooking I add a spoon ful of butter. Then I add about a quarter cup of brown sugar, a dash of cinnamon, and some raisins. A dash of vanilla. Then I pour just a bit of heavy cream over the top when it is done. Tastes just like cinnamon roll.

Reply:What they said above and maybe powdered sugar. That's pretty much what the icing on a cinnamon roll is made of.
