Is it true that tequila produces a different buzz?

I've had small amounts of tequila before, but I've never been drunk strictly off it. Does the agave plant actually change the way you feel as opposed to drinking something else of 80-proof caliber?

Is it true that tequila produces a different buzz?
I think every different kind of alcohol gives a different buzz, and hangover.
Reply:Yes it does
Reply:yes, i get mean with tequila. very aggresive. vodka and rum are more mellow and happy.
Reply:Tequila is definitely a different type of alcohol than any other type I have ever experienced, and I've experienced most all of them in my 64 years. I will not drink Tequila ever again. I have had it on two different occasions and almost blacked out both times with only a small amount taken, like two drinks. I would definitely suggest you stay away from it if you have to go to work the next day. My wife tried it once and really believed that she would never be able to walk again. She did though eventually.
Reply:to me being drunk is being drunk...but lucky me, ive never had a hangover =)
Reply:It is a high which is quite nice... this is cosed by the specific alcohols that are in tequila.
Reply:i think..... 100% pure Aguave Tequla if a lot is drank... can make you halasunate... sorry spelling lol ' hic'
Reply:a mean buzz, is what i've seen.
Reply:I think all different liquors give a different buzz. For instance; just a couple of shots of whiskey will get me drunk but I can drink rum all night and not feel a thing, gin will hit me like a ton of bricks after about three or four!
