Blue Agave growth rate?

Slow or fast grower? How many inches per year on average?

Blue Agave growth rate?
Also called the tequila agave and is in the Agavaceae family species. I believe it grows about 1 to 2 ft. per year.

There are wild and commercials species.

The wild blue agave will bloom a large spike straight up in the air... in it's 5 or 6th year of life and will usually die afterwards.

The commercial blue agave is grown to make ahem....Tequila. They remove the bloom spike so it can live a long life span.

The Agave Maguey...is a different species but looks similiar you can see a picture at the source link below.
